8th Global Economic Summit 2019

World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai and All India Association of Industries (AIAI) are jointly organizing the 8^th Global Economic Summit 2019 on the theme ‘Services: Enabler of Growth for Trade and Industry’ scheduled from March 6-8, 2019 at World Trade Centre Mumbai.

Several dignitaries from India and overseas including policymakers, international experts in multilateral organizations, MNCs, academicians and industry experts are expected to deliberate on enhancing MSME competitiveness by integrating services to enhance economic and business competitiveness.

The Summit will showcase opportunities for small, medium and large organizations to integrate services as productivity enablers in enhancing manufacturing and agriculture sectors. It will also help governments and regulatory authorities to enhance their competitiveness in global services by helping them to adopt various social and policy initiatives as well as advancements in information and communication technologies.

Similarly, service sector is a key to provide economic empowerment to women by providing high employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. The Summit will also deliberate on enhancing the role of women in the service sector.

The earlier editions of the Global Economic Summit addressed topics such as Trade and Investment Opportunities, Small and Medium Enterprises, Clusters in One World: Perspectives from Many Nations, Asia: Powering Global Markets, Enabling Food for All, and Women Empowerment: Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Capacity Building, which witnessed participation of over 500 delegates from across 30 countries including India.
