1. Consulate General of India, New York invites bids from interested companies for day to day cleaning & sanitization of its Chancery building located at 3 East, 64 Street, New York, NY, 10065.

2. Schedule & scope of work to be undertaken is as under:

a. Location: Basement thru 5th floor at 3 East 64 street, New York, NY 10065.

b. List of responsibilities.

8 Am to 3 Pm shift

• Dust clean all vertical surfaces (Sills, ledges, chairs, rail, moldings)
• Wipe clean all water coolers
• Empty and clean all ash trays and smoking sand urns.
• Clean all windows, inside and out and clean all interior mirrors.
• Clean, sanitize and stock restrooms in the passport/ visitor\'s section every hour.
• Clean, sanitize and stock restrooms in all general areas.
• Polish brass rails and door plates on time.
• Sweep side walk and exterior stair case.
• Clean and sanitize all tiles, marble floors everyday
• Wipe clean all brass, polished surfaces once every day
• Clean and maintain the elevator polished surfaces.
• Sanitize all furniture, fixtures, appliances.
• Clean all Stalled and entrance doors.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas three times in a week
• Clean front of the building every morning.

3 Pm to 8 Pm shift

• Sweep and mop all tiled/ marble floors of entrance foyer, reception, stairs, visitor\'s area, all bathrooms, with chemically treated mop.
• Clean all fixture and furniture with appropriate cleaning materials
• Sweep and mop back stair case from 5th floor to the basement.
• Collect waste from all waste receptacles and place them in appropriate containers
• Place all garbage, properly contained, in front of the building every night for timely garbage collection.
• Clean backyard.
• Vacuum all carpet areas.
• Clean all windows inside and outside, all interior mirror surfaces
• Wash stair area leading to the visitor\'s section every night.
• Wash the front of the building every night before leaving.

3. Other terms & conditions of the contract would be:

• Bills for the services provided by the company will be settled on monthly basis after completion of each month. The bills should be supported by attendance sheet of person(s) deployed by the company for the job.
• The contract would initially be for a period of one year from the date of award of contract.
• The person(s) deployed by the company should have working knowledge of English language.
• The contract can be terminated by giving one month\'s advance notice by either side.

4. Interested companies may send their bids in a sealed envelope ( with "Bids for Cleaning/Sanitization Services" written on the cover) at the following address by 28th May, 2014:
