Acceptance of Global Entry Applications by CGI, New York

In an another people friendly initiative of the Government, CGI New York will start accepting applications for Global Entry Programme (GEP) through Global Passport Seva Portal (GPSP) at www.passportindia.gov.in from October 1, 2019.

As per the existing process, Indian citizens applying for GEP submit their application in the US Custom and Border Protection website https://ttp.dhs.gov. After completion of the same, the applicants need to submit the requisite information at www.passportindia.gov.in for their background verification in India. They were required to mandatorily visit the respective Passport Seva Kendra as per their address in India furnished during online filing of GEP application. This was required to complete the application submission process.

This process has now been eased by allowing the applicants to submit their application directly to Mission using the above portal. Application fee of US$ 25 has to be paid to avail the Services. The application could also be submitted at CKGS Centre who will charge an additional fee of US$ 19.95 for processing the same.
