MEDIA INDIA LECTURE SERIES - 2015

Continuing its series of monthly Media - India lecture, the CGI hosted yet another prominent dignitary, Ms. Nisha Desai Biswal, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs on August 04, 2015. It is the first time since the series started in March 2014 that a senior official of her rank in the state government participated in the lecture.

Ms. Biswal spoke on "Vision of India US Relations in the coming years and its strategic significance in the global context". As a well informed and an authority on the subject, her lecture was comprehensive, inspiring, educative and full of valuable information. She had covered a range of subjects starting from economic relations to strategic aspects of bilateral partnership. The strong political relations, frequent visits at Ministerial level and role played by diaspora was also highlighted by her.

The lecture was followed by Q & A session moderated by the Consul General. The event was attended by a large number of people representing diverse backgrounds.
