"AICC Franchise Expo Kick-off Meeting"

On 9th July 2014, mainstream business leaders joined Indian American business community in the Ball Room of the Consulate General of India, New York for a kick-off meeting hosted by Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce (AICC) which started with lamp-lightening.

To define international relations in 21st century through business relations was the mantra given by Consul General Amb Dnyaneshwar M Mulay in his welcome speech. Amb. Mulay referred to Hon. Prime Minister's emphasis on economic work and good governance and the need for entrepreneurship, running businesses as effectively and profitably and qualitatively. He applauded the people of Indian origin, who constitute a major intellectual work-force in the US to join mainstream to lead in different spheres of life, administration etc. He informed about the meeting with Governor Cuomo earlier in the day and the possibility of him leading a business delegation to India.

An alumni of IIT, Kanpur Mr Anil Bansal who is President of AICC and Founder & Chairman of Indus American Bank spoke about the AICC, its Franchise Seminar & Show on 22nd September 2014 in New Jersey and its initiative to launch "Startup Hub". "Startup Hub" will provide interest free loan to few selected applicant entrepreneurs 'to make their idea the next big thing' and to sow the seeds of long lasting business relationships.

IIT (Madras) Alumni Mr Rajeev Khanna managed the show with his informative comments about the AICC and its board-members. Ms Priti Pandya-Patel, CEO & Co-Founder of "International Sleep Network" and Vice President of AICC thanked sponsors which included Habib Bank, M&T Bank, Vocelli Pizza etc. The meeting was attended by senior representatives of MidJersey Chamber of Commerce, New Jersey Small Business Development Corporation, Quarterspot, CITI Bank etc. Mr Ilyas Quraishi, Director of Advertising and Marketing with Parikh Worldwide Media made a power-point presentation on 2013 AICC-event.
