Visit of Hon'ble Minister (Independent Charge) for Tourism, Mr. K. J Alphons To New York.

Mr. K.J. Alphons, Hon'ble Minister (IC) for Tourism visited New York from April 18 -21, 2018. He was accompanied by Mr. Satyajeet Rajan, Director General (Ministry of Tourism).

2. While in New York City, the Minister visited the Consulate and interacted with tour operators and media on inbound tourism into India. Mr. Satyajeet Rajan gave presentation on 'Incredible India' highlighting India's tourist destinations and how initiatives for tourism promotion with focus on wellness tourism. Minister Alphons answered queries from the tour operators and welcomed suggestion on ways and mean to increase tourist flows from US.

3. He also met with Mr. Daniel Weiss, President of the MET Museum and sought collaboration on branding India as a tourist destination.
