Visit of students from Amity Education Group

The Consulate General of India, New York, organized a panel discussion on: 'Role of India and USA in the Ecosystem of Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship' on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 for visiting students from Amity Education Group. Sixty-Five students from various Amity International University campuses in India are in New York for five weeks as part of 'Explore America' program.

Consul General, Sandeep Chakrovorty, welcomed the students, panelists and the NYPD Officials. The panelists were CEOS and Founders of successful start-ups, Investor groups and Media Groups such as Wordeee, Quantum Media Group, XENIAPP and The Westchester Angels. The discussions focused on amplifying effects of Start Up ecosystem, impact on economic growth of India and USA and how to create and find jobs of next generation. NYPD Officials spoke about their role in providing a secure environment for businesses to grow and develop and how innovation of Start ups should be beneficial to the community.

The panel discussion was followed by Q & A session.
