e-Visa – Validity of Passport
PRESS RELEASE
e-Visa – Validity of Passport
Entry into India with e-Visa, the Passport of the traveler should have a validity of at least six months from the date of arrival in India. It should also contain at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
Applicants who have availed e-Visa must travel with the same Passport on which he/she had applied for e-Visa. Entry will be allowed into India on a new Passport provided the traveler carries the old Passport on which e-Visa has been granted.
