Advisory on Satellite Phone
This is to bring to the attention of general public that under section 6 of The Indian Wireless Act and section 20 of Indian Telegraph Act carrying/use of satellite phones, by foreign nationals (irrespective of category of passport) without prior approval, is illegal/ unauthorized.
