‘India For Humanity- Role of Jaipur Foot’ (April 04, 2019).
In association with Jaipur Foot USA, Consulate General of India organized an Exhibition & Seminar titled ‘India for Humanity-Role of Jaipur Foot’ to commemorate 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on April 4, 2019 at the Consulate. Mr. Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Ambassador of India to the United States was the Chief Guest. Dr. Paritosh Prasad, great- great grandson of Mahatma Gandhi was the Guest of Honor. Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Shringla highlighted that ‘India for Humanity’ was formally launched by Late (Mrs.) Sushma Swaraj, former External Affairs Minister of India, on October 09, 2018 in honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s service to humanity. The event was very well attended by local politicians and members of the Diaspora.
